Khanh Son District organizes a Workshop to connect tourism development
Implementing events and programs within the framework of Khanh Son Fruit Festival, on the morning of August 11, 2024, in To Hap town, the People's Committee of Khanh Son District organized a workshop to connect tourism development of Khanh Son district in 2024 with the theme of "Green tourism – Khanh Son towards sustainable tourism development". Attending the workshop were Bui Hoai Nam - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Khanh Son District Party Committee, Dinh Van Dung – Chairperson of Khanh Son District People's Committee, leaders of departments and agencies in the province, Promotion Centers, industry associations, travel agencies and business establishments in Khanh Son District.
At the workshop, leaders of the People's Committee of Khanh Son District discussed the potentials, advantages and policies to attract tourism investment of Khanh Son District. Presentations by delegates attending the Workshop on promoting community-based tourism models and building a tour program connecting the district and regional linkage products for Khanh Son district, on the trend of developing tourism models to serve local tourists. Earlier on the afternoon of August 10, 2024, the People's Committee of Khanh Son District organized a Famtrip delegation to survey tourism products in Khanh Son District; the delegation went to survey at tourist destinations, tourist accommodation facilities, and orchards in Khanh Son District such as Ta Gu Waterfall, Long House, and orchards in Son Hiep Commune. During the meeting, the delegation experienced tourism products and services at tourist destinations in the District, at the same time updated and provided information to the Famtrip delegation on the operation of individuals, organizations and tourism businesses in the District, introduced and promoted tourist destinations, services and products, typically to the Famtrip delegation.
The Workshop was organized to promote the communication and promotion of the advantages and potentials of tourism development of Khanh Son District to attract resources to promote tourism development in the District, facilitating the activities of businesses and tourists. The Workshop introduces preferential mechanisms and policies to support investment in tourism activities in the District, promotes destinations, tourism products and services in Khanh Son District to investors, tourism businesses inside and outside the province, and tourism service business households in the District in order to attract potential investors to pay attention and invest in Khanh Son tourism, thereby promoting linkages and cooperation in tourism development in the locality.
