Preparation to organize Vietnam Golf Festival 2024 in Nha Trang
The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa Province issued Plan No. 11735/KH-UBND dated October 17, 2024 to coordinate the organization of Vietnam Golf Festival "Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024". According to the Plan, Vietnam Golf Festival will be hosted by Saigon Liberation Newspaper in collaboration with the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and agencies. The Festival will take place from December 6 to December 8, 2024, include the acitivities of "Kids Golf Talent" tournament, "Vietnam Golf Festival Championship" tournament, and "Golf and tourism" seminar. In addition, within the framework of the event, there will be an exhibition themed "Vietnam Golf Road", fashion, health and beauty activities for golfers, golf experience activities, activities for Dalat-Nha Trang golf tourism promotion and culinary activities, display and promote typical products. In particular, the opening program of Vietnam Golf Festival - Nha Trang 2024 with the theme of "Radiant Blue" takes place at 19:30 on December 6, 2024 at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang, while "Ocean echo" concert and the program honoring and closing Vietnam Golf Festival take place on December 8, 2024 with the theme of "Hundred Years of Vietnam Golf". At the same time, the Plan also assigns departments and agencies to coordinate with Saigon Liberation Newspaper, in which the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is the focal point of the province to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with relevant agencies, units and localities to work specifically to agree on the program and scenario for organizing the festival.
The festival is held to promote golf to become a more popular sport closer to everyone in the era of integration, knowledge and civilization, thereby strenthening the connection between travel agencies, airlines, golf courses and state management authorities, contributing to the development and expansion of the golf tourism market. At the same time, the potentials and strengths of socio-economic development as well as the unique cultural values of the province will be introduced and promoted to attract domestic and foreign tourists, affirming the spirit, will and aspiration for development of Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa Province in particular.
