Vietnam is voted as Asia's Best Golf Destination for the 8th time

(TITC) - On the evening of November 23 in Madeira, Portugal, Vietnam was honored by the 11th World Golf Awards as “Asia's Best Golf Destination in 2024. This is the 8th consecutive time Vietnam has been honored at this award.

To achieve this title, Vietnam surpassed other leading candidates such as Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Also at this award ceremony, Hanoi Capital was honored as the "World's Best Golf City Destination in 2024".

The awards are the result of a year-long search for golf tourism brands favored all over the world. The vote was conducted by golf experts, the media and the public. The winner is the candidate who wins the most votes in a category.

Vietnam is considered an ideal golf destination in Asia with breathtaking natural scenery and favorable tropical climate to invest in the development of golf courses and types of golf tourism. According to preliminary statistics, Vietnam has about 100 18-hole golf courses and practice grounds in operation, many of which meet international standards. The development of golf tourism infrastructure and products is one of the key orientations in the Vietnam Tourism Development Strategy to 2030 approved by the Prime Minister.

Up to now, Vietnam has been voted the Asia's Best Golf Destination 8 times and won the World's Best Golf City Destination twice. This confirms the brand, attractiveness and position of Vietnam on the world golf tourism map.
