Khanh Hoa tourism attends Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2024

To implement the Tourism Action Program in 2024 from September 5, 2025 to September 7, 2024, Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Tourism Association assumed the prime responsibility for coordinating with Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism and tourism businesses to attend Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo 2024 (ITE 2024 HCMC). Attending and promoting Khanh Hoa tourism, the Tourism Association and 15 tourism businesses displayed and introduced tourism products that attracted many domestic and foreign travel businesses and local residents in Ho Chi Minh City to learn about tourism programs.The 18th ITE HCMC 2024 was opened on the morning of September 5, 2024 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), District 7. When attending the program, Khanh Hoa delegation also attended the following events: High-level Tourism Forum: "Green Transformation, Net Zero Tourism - Shaping the Future" and Workshop "Empowering Local Communities through Sustainable Tourism" jointly organized by Vietnam National Authority of Tourism and the World Tourism Organization -Regional Support Office for Asia and the Pacific (UN Tourism RSOAP), Workshop "Application of AI in international communication and sustainable tourism" and other events within the scope of the expo.

The ITE HCMC 2024 has the theme of "Sustainable Tourism - Shaping the Future" with the desire to call for active participation from all units to promote sustainable tourism development and create a better future. In particular, the event was also honored to welcome nearly 700 domestic and international delegates to attend ITE HCMC 2024; this year's ITE HCMC 2024 has the theme of "Sustainable Tourism - Shaping the Future" defining the strategic vision of Vietnam's tourism industry in general and Ho Chi Minh City's tourism in particular, which is sustainable tourism development. Tourism development must not only be based on economic benefits but also harmonious with cultural, social and environmental values, towards green tourism, net zero...Shaping the future is an important highlight of the theme, demonstrates a strategic perspective: sustainable tourism is not merely conservation, but also creativity and innovation in the approach to tourism to ensure that cultural, historical and natural values are preserved and developed. Through 17 times of organization, ITE HCMC has constantly innovated and enhanced its professionalism in order to strive to become the most influential tourism fair in Asia.
