The tourism indicators in the third quarter achieved a good growth; the total number of tourists estimated by tourist accommodation establishments was at 3.8 million, an increase of 29.7% over the same period in 2023. Specifically, international tourists were estimated at 1.2 million, increasing by 75.2% over the same period last year while domestic tourists were estimated at 2.6 million, increasing by 15.5% over the same period last year. The total tourism revenue is estimated at more than VND 18,092 billion, an increase of 29% over the same period last year.

In the first 9 months of 2024, the total number of tourists was estimated at 9 million, an increase of 57.9% over the same period last year (reaching 100% of the plan of 2024). Specifically, international tourists were estimated at 3.6 million, increasing by 147.9% over the same period last year (exceeding 20% of the plan of 2024)while domestic tourists were estimated at 5.4 million, increasing by 27.2% over the same period last year (reaching 90% of the plan of 2024). The total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 44,138.4 billion, an increase of 61.9% over the same period (exceeding 10% of the plan of 2024).

In 2024, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome 9 million tourists, including 3 million international tourists.
