Welcome the 9 millionth tourist to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa
Through positive statistics on the growth of the number of tourists, in the first 9 months of 2024, the total number of tourists is estimated at 9 million, an increase of 57.9% over the same period last year (reaching 100% of the plan in 2024); specifically, international tourists are estimated at 3.6 million, an increase of 147.9% over the same period last year (exceeding 20% of the plan in 2024), domestic tourists are estimated at 5.4 million, an increase of 27.2% over the same period last year (reaching 90% of the plan in 2024), and in order to mark the important development milestone of Khanh Hoa tourism in 9 months of 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Notice No. 430/TB-UBND dated September 18, 2024 on conclusion of Chairperson of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan at the meeting for report on the Plan to organize activities and events to announce Khanh Hoa Province reaching 9 million tourists in 2024, including organizing Welcome the 9 millionth tourist to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. Accordingly, the Department of Tourism coordinated with Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Airlines Branch in Nha Trang and related units to welcome the 9 millionth tourist to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa on Vietnam Airlines Airbus A321 with flight number VN441 from Incheon (Korea) with the number of 180 passengers.
Leaders and guests welcomed Vietnam Airlines flight VN441 to land at 9:50 a.m. on October 1, 2024.

On this occasion, to express gratitude to tourists who select Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa as a tourist destination, especially to impress passengers in general and the 3 tourists numbered 8,999,999 - 9,000,000 - 9,000,001 in particular, the Department of Tourism and related units presented practical gifts.
The leaders presented gifts to 03 tourists: 03 air tickets, 03 vouchers for 01 night stay at Ana Mandara Cam Ranh Resort, 03 Nha Trang City tour vouchers, and products from Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest and Coffee.
The program taking place briefly but giving tourists a joyful and friendly atmosphere when setting foot at Cam Ranh International Airport, contributes to building the image of "Friendly – Quality – Safe" Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism, towards the implementation of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province to 2023, with a vision to 2045.
