He arrived and settled in Nha Trang in 1891 to establish the first enterprise of virology in Vietnam. He established the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang in early 1899.
After 50 years of devoting his life to scientific research at Pasteur Institute (1891-1943), he handed down 55 works of valuable scientific research. He acted as: -
