Welcome international tourists to Khanh Hoa and safely adapt to the new normal state

Implementation of Notice No. 38/TB-UBND dated January 27, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee at the meeting of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control dated January 25, 2022, Decision No. 270/QD-UBND dated January 25, 2022 of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announcing the level of Covid-19 epidemic in Khanh Hoa province (according to Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 of the Government) of level 1: Low risk (new normal) corresponding to green color. In order to implement Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP dated October 11, 2021 of the Government temporarily providing for "Safe adaptation, flexibility, effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic", to ensure safety to welcome international tourists to Khanh Hoa in the new normal situation and strictly follow directions of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Tourism issued Official Letter No. 222/SDL-QLDL dated January 27, 2022 on the organization of welcoming international tourists to Khanh Hoa and safely adapting to the new normal state, the document instructs businesses with the following details:

For international tourists to Khanh Hoa, follow Instruction No. 11368/HD-UBND dated November 10, 2021 of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on piloting international tourists to Khanh Hoa and Official Letter No. 13375/BCD dated December 30, 2021 of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on temporary guidance on the implementation of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic for people entering through Cam Ranh International Airport and other international airports to stay in Khanh Hoa province, after 3 days of staying at establishments registered to participate in the pilot program to welcome international tourists to Khanh Hoa, tourists are allowed to move to other tourist sites (staying, sightseeing, entertainment and shopping) in Khanh Hoa province after having negative RT-PCR test results on the 3rd day from the date of entry, but tourists shall always fully comply with 5K regulations (face masks, medical declarations, disinfection, distancing, no gathering) under the guidance of the Ministry of Health; In case there are signs of cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, etc., immediately notify local health clinics for handling according to regulations. International travel agents are responsible for notifying the above contents to tourists participating in the tour program organized by the agents and coordinating with the next accommodation establishment to monitor health situation of tourists, guiding the implementation of measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to regulations of competent authorities, promptly reporting to health authorities and local authorities (commune level) upon occurrence of problems.

To ensure safe reception of tourists in the new normal situation, it is recommended that businesses organize the reception of tourists based on Official Letter No. 10779/BCD dated October 27, 2021 of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Disease Prevention and Control 19: Plans to welcome and serve tourists meeting safety criteria for Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control; Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control plans and handling plans when there are cases of Covid-19; Self-assessment sheet meets the safety criteria for the prevention and control of Covid19; Decision on establishment of a Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and a Safety Team for Covid-19 Prevention and Control (with specific assignment of tasks). The aforemention contents shall be completed and sent to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in writing before organizing to welcome tourists. The Department of Tourism will review and post business information on the website of the Department of Tourism at http://sdl.khanhhoa.gov.vn and http://nhatrang-travel.com.

The Department of Tourism will coordinate with relevant authorities and divisions to organize post-inspection (when necessary), strictly handle violations of epidemic prevention and control as prescrobed by law.
