Vietnam Airlines Group deploys domestic exploitation plan from December 1, 2021

Following the guidance of the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines Group expects to operate roughly 140 flights per day on nearly 40 domestic routes, with Vietnam Airlines operating 5 flights per day and Pacific Airlines operating 2 flights per day on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route.

Vietnam Airlines is anticipated to operate 1-3 flights per day on other routes departing from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, as well as 2-3 flights per day on high-demand routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Con Dao, Da Lat, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc. At the same time, Pacific Airlines offers two daily flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc, as well as four to seven weekly flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Vinh, Nha Trang, Da Lat, and Quy Nhon.

Airline passengers are required to complete an electronic medical declaration using the PC-COVID app. Passengers are also required to have a certificate of full vaccination against Covid-19, with the last dose given at least 14 days and not more than 12 months prior to departure; or a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 or hospital discharge not more than 6 months prior to departure; or negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR or rapid antigen test within 72 hours of departure.

To assist passengers, Vietnam Airlines Group will continue to offer free ticket exchange to all passengers who purchase tickets from now until December 15, 2021 in order to preserve flexibility in the operation plan for epidemic prevention and control.
