Program "Following footsteps of Doctor Yersin" launches

In response to the Nha Trang Sea Tourism Festival 2022, on the morning of June 17, 2022, at 2-4 Square, Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Travel Association (KTA), a member of the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association launched the program "Journey in the footsteps of Doctor A. Yersin" to honor the great celebrity of humanity who lived, attached and spent his whole life in Nha Trang. - Khanh Hoa. The program is considered a new experience for Vietnamese and foreigners to understand more about his life, valuable contributions and achievements that he has left for humanity and the history of Nha Trang land - Khanh Hoa.

After the launch, Khanh Hoa Travel Association organized an experience program for festival participants and tourists. The tour program includes: Visiting the Park named after the famous scientist Alexandre Yersin; Strolling along Tran Phu bridge to admire the Cai River and Nha Trang sea, with Cửa Đại and Xóm Cồn, Lầu Ông Tư where Dr. Yersin lived for more than 50 years; Visiting Nha Trang Pasteur Institute founded by Dr. Yersin in 1895 and Yersin Museum - where many autographs of A. Yersin are displayed, and tourists will hear explanations about the life and career of Dr. Yersin; Coming to Suối Dầu, where Dr. Yersin reclaimed to make a livestock and farming farm for earning to serve scientific research and help the poor, to visit his grave; Visiting Linh Sơn Pháp Ấn Pagoda – a National Monument.

This new tourism product was developed and implemented by Khanh Hoa Travel Association, enriching tourism products and services for tourists coming to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.
