Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan link to promote tourism
| To strengthen linkages of destination promotion among the South Central Coast provinces, on February 20, 2018, at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Ninh Thuan, the delegation of Khanh Hoa Tourism Department had a meeting to discuss the direction of the promotion and tourist attraction to Ninh Thuan. The meeting was attended by Mr. Tran Viet Trung - Director of Khanh Hoa Tourism Department, Mr. Ho Si Son - Deputy Director of Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leader of the Chinese Tourist Welcome of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan Tourism Association and tourism enterprises of 2 provinces.
At the meeting, both departments and enterprises stated the tourism situation of the two provinces and discussed measures to take Chinese, Korean and Russian touristsfrom Khanh Hoa to Ninh Thuan as a next destination for 1-2 days. This is also a consensus solution to increase visitors' stay and diversify serving tourism. Ninh Thuan Province is known to tourists for its beautiful bays and beaches such as Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Chu, Ca Na and Nam Cuong Sand Dunes. In addition, Ninh Thuan is also strong with agricultural tourism products such as grapes, apples, asparagus, unique Cham cultural products such as Bau Truc pottery, My Nghiep brocade and some culinary products for visitor serving.
In the coming time, the leaders of local Tourrism departments will deploy a number of joint tourism promotional publications to serve tourism survey groups and from 12-13 /3/2019 Khanh Hoa Tourism Department will coordinate with Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and enterprises in the organization of Famtrip delegation of 200 guests from more than 100 companies in 30 major cities of China coming here for Ninh Thuan tourism survey. This is also a premise to connect, attract and diversify tourism products for visitors to Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan in particular and the South Central region in general. | |
