May 20: Vietnam Airlines opens new route to Mumbai, India

 (TITC) - According to Vietnam Airlines, in order to continue expanding the international route network and attracting more Indian tourists to Vietnam, from May 20, 2023, Vietnam Airlines will operate a new route between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Mumbai (India).

Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines operates four flights per week between Hanoi and Mumbai on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and three flights per week between Ho Chi Minh City and Mumbai on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday . The flights are operated by Airbus A321.

On the occasion of the launch of a new route, Vietnam Airlines launches a promotion program for customers to purchase tickets on routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Mumbai via the Vietnam Airlines website, mobile application, ticket offices, and official agents. Round-trip fare starts at USD 199 (equivalent to VND 4,597,000 including taxes and fees). The fare is subject to change depending on the exchange rate. The offer is valid for tickets purchased between now and the end of May 26, 2023, and departs from May 20-26, 2023.

Vietnam Airlines adds a route to Mumbai, whch is the second largest city in India.  Previously, the airline operated a direct flight between Vietnam and New Delhi in June 2022.
