Khanh Hoa province implements tourism cooperation promotion in Australia
Within the framework of tourism promotion and cooperation activities in Australia, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province would visit from October 17 to October 21, 2023. On the afternoon of October 19, at Holiday Inn Potts Point Hotel, Sydney, Australia, Khanh Hoa province, organized a roadshow to promote Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism. About 30 large Australian businesses and travel partners attended the program.
At the beginning of the program, Mr. Ha Quoc Tri - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly's Delegation gave a speech to welcome and introduce the potentials and strengths of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism and hoped that through this program, Australian travel businesses would have more information about destinations, products and services, connect and cooperate with tourism enterprises of Khanh Hoa province to build attractive tourism programs, tours and routes to bring Australian tourists to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and vice versa, thereby, heading towards the strong and sustainable development of businesses in particular and Khanh Hoa tourism industry (Vietnam) and localities of Australia in general.
In addition, Australian travel businesses also heard the introduction of typical products and services of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism presented by representatives of the Travel Association (Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association) and some tourism businesses of Khanh Hoa province.
Also at the program, Australian travel businesses and tourism businesses of Khanh Hoa province had the opportunity to meet, exchange, learn and connect business development cooperation through B2B activities and Gala Dinner.
In the eight months of 2023, Khanh Hoa province has welcomed 21,290 Australian visitors, an increase of more than 570% compared to the same period in 2022, making it a tourist sending market ranked in the top 5 international tourist markets to Khanh Hoa and also one of the fastest growing international tourist markets in terms of the number of visitors.
