Conference on tourism development cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan
Within the framework of tourism development cooperation with Ninh Thuan province, on the morning of November 15, 2023, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism coordinated with Ninh Thuan Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a "Conference on tourism development cooperation between Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan" at Hoan My Resort Ninh Chu, Phan Rang City – Thap Cham, Ninh Thuan Province.
The conference was an opportunity for leaders to directly exchange tourism information, update the new situation of tourism and tighten cooperation between localities in the coming time. The conference was attended by representatives of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee; Tourism Promotion Information Center and 2 local Tourism Associations, Airlines and tourism enterprises of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces; within the framework of the conference, there was a display area of tourism publications and typical products of the two localities. Besides, the conference also introduced tourism products, new tourism programs, attractive destinations of Ninh Thuan province.

At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed solutions to connect tourism products to form inter-regional tourism routes in the South Central Coast, shared tourism information to promote the development of tourist sources, especially the number of international visitors to Ninh Thuan, thereby diversifying and enriching the tour program for international tourists coming to Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces in particular. Also at the Conference, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan province and the Department of Tourism of Khanh Hoa province; and Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association also signed a memorandum of understanding on tourism development cooperation with Ninh Thuan Tourism Association.

In October 2023, Khanh Hoa province generally reached a total of 6.2 million visitors, an increase of 175% over the same period last year. Specifically, international visitors were estimated at more than 1.67 million, 8.9 times higher than the same period last year, domestic visitors were estimated at 4.53 million, increasing by 118.9% over the same period last year. Tourism revenue reached VND 29,875.9 billion, an increase of 152.7% over the same period last year.
