Leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee visit and wish tourism businesses a happy new year in 2022
On the morning of February 8, 2022 (ie the 8th day of the Lunar New Year), the delegation of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee included Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism, Mr. Phan Dinh Phung - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism, leader of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, Office of Provincial People's Committee, the Tourism Promotion Information Center, press reporters and Radio and Television Stations visited and wished Tet holiday at Amiana resort hotel and Vinpearl BeachFront hotel on the occasion of the new year 2022.
At the meeting, tourism agents presented preliminary reports to the Delegation on the business situation of 2021 and the Lunar New Year of 2022. Regarding the business situation in 2021, tourism agents faced various difficulties due to the pandemic impacts. In order to adapt to the new normal state, businesses have launched special stimulus programs with preferential prices for local customers. The businesses also coordinated with Department of Tourism to implement domestic promotions. Resort packages for families and small groups are the main focus supported by customers and initially showing positive effects. During the Lunar New Year, the booking rate is very positive. Hotels and resorts offer Tet promotions in combination with the resort's available services such as spa, sightseeing tours and diverse cuisine and entertainment programs with the theme of Vietnamese New Year culture. In 2022, for the domestic market, businesses will continue to promote domestic tourism to travel agents in the three regions. A package of high-class resort products at reasonable prices is available to the domestic market. Online business networking and survey tours are expanded. For the international market, the “vaccination passport” program is implemented in coordination with international travel agents to promote in international markets that will gradually recover when opening to international tourists in March 2022.
Hotels and resorts have established and maintained the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee and the COVID-19 Safety Team. Plan to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic is prepared when there are cases of COVID-19. Training courses on safety and prevention of the epidemic for employees are held.
After listening to reports of tourism businesses, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee directed the Department of Tourism to coordinate with Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to receive and soon advise the Provincial People's Committee to solve difficulties and problems for tourism businesses. A communication and promotion plan for the domestic tourism market as well as the international market shall be prepared to help tourism businesses restore activities to serve tourists, and at the same time on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee wished businesses a happy, prosperous and united New Year to restore and develop tourism activities.
