Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism participates in an online meeting on attracting international tourists

This meeting is held to share information and exchange solutions to attract international tourists to Vietnam in the coming time. On the morning of September 29, 2022, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism held an online meeting with key localities for tourism development with the theme "Connection and promotion to attract international tourists". Chairing the connection point at the headquarters of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) were Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh - General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Deputy General Directors, leaders of departments, offices and units under VNAT, Leaders of the Fund to support tourism development and connection points in localities with 14 Departments of Tourism and 09 Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism in key localities attracting international tourists.

At the meeting, representatives of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism presented measures to attract international visitors to Vietnam, planned to organize a conference to promote foreign tourism into Vietnam, including events organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism at the domestic and foreign markets from now until the end of 2022 and early 2023.  At the same time, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism raised difficulties, obstacles, and promotion and campaign suggestions in order to attract international tourists. During the meeting, the localities had discussions on the situation of foreign arrivals, ways to promote and draw tourists from abroad, and the sharing of information about the situation, challenges, and issues and proposals for joint promotion, advertising to attract international tourists to Vietnam as well as each locality and cluster.

It is known that this is a program for the National Administration of Tourism to grasp the proposals, problems and difficulties in key localities in attracting international tourists to serve the preparation of contents and organization of the national conference on promoting international tourists to Vietnam to be hosted by the Government at the end of October 2022 to discuss solutions to attract international tourists in the coming time.
