Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism organizes tourism promotion program in Hanoi

Deploying the Tourism Action Program 2022, on April 1, 2022, Khanh Hoa Tourism Department organized the Roadshow chapter "Connecting businesses, stimulating tourism in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa" in 2022. The program has the theme of Nha Trang – Touching the heart. The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh- General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien - Chief of Office of People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, leaders of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture and Sports, Khanh Hoa Nha Trang Tourism Association, leaders of Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotion Centers of various provinces and cities, representatives of Hanoi Unesco Club and more than 200 tourism businesses in the country.

The event is divided into two parts, with the participation of more than 200 tourism businesses nationwide and tourism businesses of Khanh Hoa province in the Business Matching program from 14:00 to 16:30 and the Gala Dinner program from 16:30 to 20:00. Along with introducing and providing new, typical, and attractive packages and services to travel enterprises across the country, Khanh Hoa tourism also implemented "Launching Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa tourism demand stimulus program in 2022" and "Announcing the new brand identity of Khanh Hoa tourism" with the logo and slogan "Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, Touching the heart."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, spoke at the Roadshow event on the city's tourism strengths. With the advantage of having historical picturesque locations, a unique and rich culture, and suitable climatic conditions as well as the hospitality of local people, Nha Trang- Khanh Hoa is a land of paradise, interest and peace. The travel branch of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association also introduced typical tourism programs during April 30 and summer 2022 to travel agencies. At the same time, Unesco Hanoi Club and Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association signed an agreement to collaborate on the development of a tour product connecting Khanh Hoa and bringing visitors to Khanh Hoa and vice versa.

Furthermore, to promote tourism, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism collaborated with Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to set up a booth at the VITM 2022 fair, with many tourism units participating to introduce and sell stimulating programs and products throughout 2022, attracting a large number of visitors.

By 2022, Khanh Hoa tourist industry hopes to welcome more than 1.2 million people (increasing 100% from 2021), with 1.16 million domestic visitors and 40,000 international visitors. Tourism income in Khanh Hoa reached VND 4,000 billion, up 80% from 2021. As a result, it remains clear that the domestic visitor market is critical to the rehabilitation of the Khanh Hoa tourism industry. As a result, in 2022, the tourism sector in Khanh Hoa will focus on improving communication, promotion, and demand stimulation in order to attract more visitors.
