Deploying special emulation movement in the emulation cluster of the Southern Departments of Tourism
Implementing the special emulation movement “The whole country joins hands to prevent and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic” launched by the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation Pham Minh Chinh at the first meeting of the Central Council for Emulation and Commendation for the 2021-2026 term, on August 17, 2021, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Official Letter No. 2970/BVHTTDL-TDKT on the implementation of Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated July 16, 2021 and the special emulation movement “The whole country joins hands to prevent and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic”.
In order to implement the special emulation movement: “The whole country joins hands to prevent and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic” in the last months of 2021, the Head of the Emulation Cluster of Southern Departments of Tourism in 2021 (Ba Ria - Vung Tau Department of Tourism) has issued a document to the Departments of Tourism - Members of the Emulation Cluster to focus on implementing emulation contents and tasks, specifically as follows:
Strengthening the implementation of emulation movements launched by the Emulation Cluster from the beginning of 2021 according to Plan No. 337/KH-CTD, dated March 16, 2021 of the Emulation Cluster on organization of the emulation movement in 2021 Pursuant to 08 contents of emulation under Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated July 16, 2021 of the Prime Minister on launching emulation movements to successfully implement annual socio-economic development tasks and the 5-year plan (2021-2025) according to the Resolution of the 8th National Party Congress and a special emulation movement: “The whole country joins hands to prevent and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic” launched by the Prime Minister, each member of the emulation block makes a plan to implement these emulation movements in the locality with beneficial results.
The Covid-19 pandemic, with the appearance of new variants capable of spreading in a faster and more dangerous way and continue to develop complicatedly across the country, has greatly affected the economy - society and people's life; The prolonged pandemic poses great challenges to the tourism industry in prevention and control and efforts to recover and develop the industry after the pandemic is controlled. Therefore, in response to the effective implementation of the special emulation movement, each locality and unit proactively carry out propaganda to each official, civil servant, public employee and worker in the industry to promote patriotism, national pride, unity, solidarity, efforts to overcome difficulties and challenges to complete the “Dual goals” of implementing regular tasks while strictly and effectively implementing measures to prevent and control the pandemic according to the Government's regulations, especially during social distancing in order to promote the strength of the entire people participating in the fight against the pandemic in the spirit of “Every citizen is a soldier”, contributing to fulfilling the task of socio-economic development in 2021 and maintain political security, social order and safety. It is necessary to pay attention to, promptly detect, reward and encourage typical and outstanding collectives and individuals in the implementation of emulation movements, especially special emulation movements. In addition, the contents and criteria to evaluate the implementation results of special emulation movements are added to the evaluation of implementation results of the Emulation Cluster in 2021.
The emulation cluster consists of Southern Departments of Tourism including 06 Departments of Tourism in Da Nang City, Binh Dinh Province, Khanh Hoa Province, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Ho Chi Minh City and Kien Giang Province in 2021, in which the Department of Tourism of Ba Ria-Vung Tau acts as the head and the Department of Tourism of Da Nang acts as its deputy head.
Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism successfully organized to welcome Famtrip delegation in April 2021, making a great contribution to the province's tourism recovery.
