Conference to promote cooperation between India and South Central provinces
The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province worked with the Indian Embassy in Vietnam to plan a conference in Nha Trang city on March 1, 2023, to encourage collaboration between India and the South Central provinces. Mr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Indian consul general in Ho Chi Minh City, Le Huu Hoang, the provincial people's committee's standing vice chairman, Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang, the council's vice chairwoman, and the leaders of the provinces of Ninh Thuan, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh were present at the ceremony.
The conference brought together nearly 300 companies from India and the South Central provinces to discuss and exchange information about the parties' strengths and opportunities for cooperation, strengthening the country's longstanding relationship with India overall and helping to advance cooperation between the South Central provinces and Indian partners, particularly in six areas: trade, investment, health, education and training, and information technology.
At the conference, Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association and Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) signed a memorandum of cooperation. In addition, within the framework of the program, units and businesses of the South Central provinces held about 20 booths to introduce typical local products.
