" Conference of tourism businesses in early 2023" organized

 This morning on February 17, 2023, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province held the " Conference of tourism businesses in early 2023". The conference was attended by leaders: Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Provincial Chief of the Community Party, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council together with the participation of leaders of departments, agencies, localities, media agencies, press, news and representatives of nearly 250 tourism and tourism-related services businesses in the province.

The program was organized to meet tourism businesses in the province on the occasion of the new year 2023; Summarize and evaluate the operation results of the tourism industry in 2022; set out directions, programs, activities and key tasks in 2023 as well as reward and honor collectives, individuals with outstanding achievements and contributions to the tourism industry in recent years. At the conference, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 2 individuals who have made many contributions to the development of tourism in Khanh Hoa province. The Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee presented Certificates of Merit to a number of collectives and individuals who have contributed to the Khanh Hoa Tourism Action Program in 2022.

In 2023, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to receive about 4 million tourists, of which about 2.5 million domestic tourists and 1.5 million international visitors, with an estimated tourism revenue of VND 21,000 billion. Accordingly, it is still determined that the domestic tourist market plays a key role in the recovery of Khanh Hoa tourism industry, besides, gradually expanding to key international tourist markets with a large number of tourists, close distance, early recovery and many potentials to which Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism with its own products and services can easily attract such as: : Korea, China, Malaysia, India, Japan, Thailand, Russia, Kazakhstan... according to each appropriate and specific period. Thus, throughout 2023, Khanh Hoa tourism industry will intensify the execution of several communication, promotion, stimulation activities to attract tourists continuously, extensively and diversely, specifically: Participating in promotion at major domestic and international tourism fairs, seminars, and events such as: Conference on Cooperation Promotion of India and South Central Provinces, Conference on Development of Routes Asia 2023 in Thailand, Hanoi Culture - Tourism Festival 2023, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2023, Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair – ITE 2023, International Tourism Fair Vietnam – VITM Hanoi 2023, Vietnam International Travel Fair – VITM Da Nang 2023, domestic and foreign online travel fairs...; Organizing the Roadshow program to promote destinations, meet and cooperate with businesses in some domestic tourist markets (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and other provinces in the Mekong Delta region and provinces in the Central Highlands…) and some international tourism markets (Korea, China, Australia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan...); Inviting and welcoming Famtrip delegations of domestic and international travel businesses (Korea, China, Russia, India, Japan, Thailand...) to observe, learn from, and collaborate on the development of tourism; Continuing to develop regional linkages to create a diversity of products and services; Coordinating with airlines to expand flight routes connecting destinations to develop tourism activities; Building a digital tourist map of Khanh Hoa; Organizing activities to welcome flights, ships, and tourist groups on the occasion of major holidays of the year; Organizing activities and events within the framework of celebrating 370 years of establishment and development of Khanh Hoa province and Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023.

At the same time, expanding and strengthening the application of digital and communication technologies to introduce the attractive features of Agarwood tourism through websites and social networking sites such as: Nhatrang- travel.com, nhatrang-travel.com.vn, Fanpage Facebook, Zalo official: Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism... as well as building more Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, tourist information App... of Khanh Hoa tourism to serve the communication, promotion and wide access to domestic and international tourists; Promoting Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism communication on domestic and international television channels as well as coordinating with the Department of Information and Communications to deploy communication and promoting Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism in the Central and local press; Publishing cultural tourism handbook of Khanh Hoa, creating clips to promote the destination...

Additionally, Khanh Hoa province in general and the tourism sector in particular will continue to focus on tourism development planning and policy development to encourage and support investment attraction in tourism; increase investment to diversify and improve the quality of tourism products at an international level, focusing on promoting the strengths of sea and island tourism as well as other types of complementary tourism products like: entertainment tourism.To create Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa into a "secure, attractive, high quality, and friendly" destination to draw both domestic and international visitors, on the other hand, emphasising on strengthening management, and enhancing the tourism environment, security, order, and safety for tourists.

Commendation of collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements and contributions to the tourism industry

The building and execution of tasks, according to the Khanh Hoa tourist sector, would entirely restore tourism activities and provide impetus for future growth and sustainable development. In addition to the support of the Government, Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, and other central ministries and agencies, as well as the attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, it is essential to have synchronized participation of state management organizations at all levels, industry sectors, tourism associations, airlines, news organizations, and companies and people working in the tourism industry. The year 2023 is anticipated to continue to be a successful year for Khanh Hoa's tourism industry, a year of strong growth, thereby affirming the position of the industry as a leading economic sector, encouraging the industry's growth, restoring and developing other sectors and fields of the province, and contributing to the successful implementation of targets and tasks in the Tourism Action Program 2023, Action Program No. 14-CTr/TU of Khanh Provincial Party Committee on developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector, Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045 , Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP dated March 21, 2022 of the Government on promulgating the Action Program to implement Resolution 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Resolution on socio-economic development in the period 2021 - 2025 of Khanh Hoa province and the Resolution of the 18th Congress of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term of 2020 - 2025.
