 Promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism in the capital of Argentina

On October 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina, the administration of Santa Fe province and Asian House jointly organized the Vietnam Tourism and Culture Week in Buenos Aires Capital.

This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the two countries established diplomatic relations (25/10 / 1973-25 / 10/2018).

Representatives of Embassies, Argentina Ministries, the Friendship Group of the two countries, the Argentina-Vietnam Cultural Institute (ICAV), travel agents and many local residents.

Addressing the event, a representative from the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina introduced the history, the diverse culture and the thousand-year tradition of Vietnam as well as the country’s achievements in the renovation process.

After introducing the tourism potential of Vietnam, especially well-known landscapes such as Ha Long Bay, Sa Pa, Da Nang, Hue..., the representative from the Vietnamese Embassy emphasized that Vietnam has become an attractive destination for Argentine tourists and attracted about 10,000 visitors from this South American country to visit in recent years. The two countries have great potential for culture and tourism development.

Vice President of Santa Fe Tourism Department, Martin Bulos, congratulated Vietnam on its achievements in socio-economic development over the past few years, with a considerable growth in the country's GDP with an average of 5 to 7% per year.

Mr. Bulos introduced Santa Fe Tourism industry and also highlighted the significance of activities contributing to fostering each country's socio-economic development, enhancing the solidarity, and mutual understanding.

On this occasion, members of ICAV and Asian House also shared their experiences and impressions when traveling in Vietnam. Meanwhile, representatives from travel agents of the two countries had the opportunity to meet, exchange and seek cooperation partners.

A photo exhibition about Vietnam was also held, attracting the attention of numerous visitors./.
