 Solutions to develop tourism products in the Central Coast

(TITC) – In the Morning on 14/9/2018, in the Nha Trang City (Khanh Hoa) took place the Discussion "Development of coastal tourism products in the Central" with the participation of the representatives of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Khanh Hoa Tourism Department and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces as well as travel agencies and local press agencies.

This is the activity within the framework of the program of surveying and development of coastal tourism products from September 9 to 14, 2015 organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.

The Discussion is aim to assess the current status of exploitation and development of tourism products in the Central Coast region and suggest solutions to strengthen links between public and private partners (local government - enterprises) in tourism development in the Central Coast region will be suggested. Thereby, travel businesseswill be called to research and invest in developing tourism products, connecting tourism programs with the Central Coast region and boosting Central Coast tourism.

At the seminar, representatives of the Tourism Department and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan introduced the rich tourism potential as well as the status of tourism development in the locality. At the same time, the delegates' questions on the issue of building new tourism products and linking tourism development as well as policies to attract investment in tourism development in each localitywere raised. The tourism businesses, media agencies participating in the discussion also came up with ideas to find solutions for investment development, quality improvement, diversification of tourism products and attraction of tourist to the Central Coast area.

In the ending of the seminar, Pham Le Thao, Deputy Director General of the Tourism Department, said that the central coastal provinces should expand cooperation with all enterprises in order to exploit other markets, avoid the risk of relying only on one market. In addition, localities need to manage closely and effectively the destinations to create quality and sustainable products, attach importance to the protection and embellishment of natural resources, call for investment to improve infrastructure facilities at tourist sites, professionalize tourism services in destinations, raise the professional qualifications of tour guides and narrators, ensure safety for visitors during experience of destinations and promote the development of tourism between localities and the entire Central Coast region in order to efficiently exploit tourism potential of the region.

From September 9-14, 2018, the delegation including representatives of the Tourism Department (VNAT) and some units under VNAT, the Ministry of Finance, the State Treasury, the Office of the Government, the airline , travel agencies in the North, Central and South, the Departments of Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, BinhThuan, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh; the press, television and related agencies visited a number of destinations in the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, such as: Thanh DucSchool- Poshanu Ancient Tower, Mui Ne - Hon Rom, Sea Link City and RD Wine Cattle, Bau Trang, Co Thach Beach, Seven-Colored gulf beach, Hang Pagoda (Binh Thuan); BauTruc pottery village, Ca Na Beach, My Nghiep brocade weaving craft village, Cap Pandaran, Tanyoli Resort, Ba Moi vineyard, Po KlongGaRaiTower, Vinh Hy bay, Nui Chua national park, Rai cave (Ninh Thuan), ecological tourist area of ​​Binh Hung - Binh Ba - Binh Lap, Kenh Ha Lake, Da Hang sanctuary, C235 Ship Monument, Doc Let Beach (Khanh Hoa) .
