Update:6/26/2018

(VNAT) - In the framework of promotion series of activities in Europe, on 22/6/2018, VNAT continued to hold the Roadshow- a program for Vietnamese tourism introduction in Vienna city of Austria.

The General Director Nguyen Van Tuan gave a welcome at the program

This is the first time Vietnamese tourism has been officially represented in Austria, with Roadshow program organized at the very famous Niederösterreich Palace in Vienna. The Niederösterreich Palace was built in the late 15th  century, formerly it was the Austrian House of Representatives until 1848. It later became one of the cultural, historical buildings and theatres of big shows in Vienna. With the historical significance and long-standing culture of the Palace, the Introduction Program of Vietnamese Tourism has created a special mark.

Delivering a welcome speech at the program, the General Director of Tourism Administration shared that Vietnam after the difficult days for independence is rising up  with full of vitality, active and hospitable people. Vietnam is not only the world's leading exporter of many kinds of tourism, but also has a strong growth in tourism and tourism has become a major industry of the country. The country, people, culture and nature of Vietnam with its stretch of coastline is becoming an attractive destination for tourists from Europe. In 2017, the number of Austrian tourists to Vietnam reached over 18 thousand, increasing 8.5% in comparison with 2016.

Vietnam's unique artistic program at the luxury palace of the "World Music Capital" truly impressed Austrian businessmen, delegates and partners on Vietnamese culture, country, people and tourism.

Following the event in Austria, Vietnamese Roadshow Program will continue being held in Budapest and Prague.
