As planned, the MerPerle Hon Tam mud bath was officially put into operation on June 12, 2019, in which there is a special service of mineral mud bathing at night. This is the first mud bath area built on the island, which is considered to be the largest and most modern in Vietnam up to this point.

Located in Area A - Hon Tam Island Tourist Area, with a total area of 20,000 m2 with the back facing mountain and the front overlooking Nha Trang Bay, a prime location of "Son Thuy Huu Tinh", divided into 9 separate areas: Reception area is 2000 m2 wide for welcoming guests and introducing services. The Locker area has enough facilities for guests to use when mud bathing on the island.

The 1,500 m2 mineral mud pool is considered as the largest mineral mud pool in Vietnam for soaking and sliding in mud and pool of 800 m2 shaded by trees. These mud pools can accommodate large number of visitors.

The unique and very eye-catching feature is 100 mud bath pools for two made of stone lying in the shadow of green trees, 10 pools made of pine wood for herbal bath. At a higher level, the "Hydrotherapy" area is 250 m2 wide: a space between the sky and hot water fountains, and there are very attractive splashes of cliffs inside "cave" to help guests relax and relieve fatigue.

Almost halfway up the mountain, there is a large mineral pool; in the middle there is a domed house with chairs which guests can both bathe and relax. Guests can enjoy the view of the sea below and islands in Nha Trang Bay in the front. Hot mineral pool Jacuzzi area is 1825 m2 wide with hot mineral of 03 levels. Next to it is a natural mineral waterfall which is 40m wide and 20m high. Fresh mineral & Spa Massage & Spa area is 250 m2 wide. Hon Viet Restaurant is 760 m2 wide and can accommodate up to 700 guests.

Mineral mud of Merperle Hon Tam Resort is taken from nature, baked by gas with temperature up to 120oC. The mud here is blended by Swiss technology, according to a certain ratio with warm mineral water. The process of mud bathing in Hon Tam is strictly protected and absolute safe for guests to use.

According to the representative of the investor, total investment for mineral mud baths on Hon Tam Island is over 115 billion VND. Upon being put into operation, the mud bath can serve up to 2,500 guests at the same time. This is a practical activity of enterprises responding to the "2019 National Tourism Year of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa ", to provide Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism with a unique tourism product attracting the attention of visitors.
